Failing happiness

I want you to be happy

Every time I create a small happiness for you

It fades

It fails you

It’s eliminated by something

Why should I create a happiness to be destroyed?

Even with this question on my mind,

I continue to try to make you happy

The reason is, I love you

I can’t stand to see you this way

The “Something” that’s killing it is,

You don’t believe in yourself

If you don’t believe in yourself,

Believe in me.

Because, I believe in you
